I am a very laid back guy and do not ask for trouble.... but trouble always finds a way.
Over a week ago I was introduced to the Fifa 2012 hack. Within a fast period my account was hacked, charged over $125 and I was locked out. Many thoughts ran through mind. Frustration that this even happened, that it was through my live account, that I don't have access to my save data and all my Microsoft devices were messed up. This includes my phone, my zune and of course my console. As soon as I found out I called xbox 360 customer support. They actually worked very well for me. They locked my account and started the recovery process. After I got off the phone I cancelled my credit card, just in case that was stolen. Within three days they had my account back in my hands and I had access to everything. (Except for access to my live account on my phone. That is just a bad design flaw). Now this is where it gets weird. My account was in my hands, but it had the same name in the email as the one that stole, but it was to a different @ location. There was already a second email attached to it that I did not own. This freaked me out. I quickly got on the phone and xbox customer support helped me. everything was secured and I haven't had problems since knock on wood.
I still would like a more official statement as to why this is happening. There are two coincidences I can't ignore, the hack happened a few hours after I put Microsoft points on my account and the whole second email being attached. This feels like an inside job more and more. I wish there was also more security measures were in place. I would pay to have a usb dongle that would recover my live account, reset my password and that way I know I could always keep it safe. This is just a rant more frustrated that he was bothered by a stupid scam than anything else. I will say it sounds like I am an exception though to what has happend. Most are locked out for 30 days or more. I hope that others that go through this are lucky like me and recover it fast.

My issue with the Xbox 360 Fifa 12 hack
Wednesday, November 30, 2011
The Skyrim serial killer.... I was frustrated when I first saw that, now I am just concern. There are already numerous people that are anti-video games and this will add fuel to the fire. I am not blaming the designers, because I understand about the cutting off heads. In the past, that was how you prove you got a bounty. Now this guy is probablly more going to a shock effect to get viewers, but this will not help the arguement for violent video games. This is going to go against gamers. I am sure video games will be protected under freedom of speech, but all it takes is one guy to mess it up for the rest of us.
On a different view point I am all down for freedom of expression, but please have some common sense about sharing your freedom of expresion.
